Welcome to perl-abook

Introduction

Perl-AddressBook is a collection of perl library modules which provide a unified interface for accessing addressbook entries stored in various types of databases.

The following database types are currently supported:

• AddressBook::DB::LDAP
• AddressBook::DB::LDIF
• AddressBook::DB::PDB (PalmOS)
• AddressBook::DB::DBI (SQL Databases)
• AddressBook::DB::Text
• AddressBook::DB::HTML

More of these will be added in the future.

Requirements

Different backends drivers have different requirements. See the appropriate backend module documentation.
