Chapter 4. Playback Window

The playback window plays the content of a message file. You can open the playback window by selecting a message file in the main window and choosing the menu command File->Playback.

4.1. Dialog Elements

The playback window contains a menubar, a toolbar, a statusbar, a level meter, a volume slider and a position slider.

The function of the menubar is explained in the Menu Entries Section.

The toolbar provides short cuts for some of the menu commands.

The statusbar gives you some information about the message file that is currently referred. The meaning of the fields from left to right:

File Name

The name of the facsimile file.

Bit Rate

The bit rate in bits per second of the currently referred message file.

Sample Size

The number of bits per sample of the currently referred message file.
